Horseshoe Bay Resort & Conference Center -Slick Rock, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located 40 miles west of Austin and 90 miles from San Antonio in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.

Slick Rock Golf Course first opened for play in 1971. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.

Horseshoe Bay Resort's Marriott hotel offers golf packages to Slick Rock, Ram Rock and Apple Rock, but Summit Rock is private, for members-only.

Play Slick Rock and skip Ram Rock. 2 greens were a little spotty, others were great. Layout, views, and fairways were great.

Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

Best conditioned of the three Horseshoe Bay courses. Fairways and greens were very good. Much easier and more enjoyable than Ram and Apple Rock.

Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
